6th Annual Garlic Mustard Pull Wisconsin River Clean Up

Location: August Derleth Park, Water St., Sauk City

Due to the unusually warm weather we had in March, the Garlic Mustard Pull will be converted into a Wisconsin River Cleanup event.

Most plants have had a good month's start on their growing season. By the time we get to this weekend in May, the garlic mustard will be full of seeds--which we'd rather not spread around!

So, join us for a good, old fashioned, pick up the trash work day!

We will provide snacks and water for you during the process. Groups are welcome.  Please give us a head's up so we have plenty of supplies to go around!

1st Annual Sauk Prairie Migratory Bird Day

Basically, we'll be helping Sauk Prairie celebrate the birds in our community. Along the way, you'll find out ways that you can help the birds in your yard.  There will be short walks at each location, lead by experts, that will give you the opportunity learn how to identify the birds in the areas (or sharpen your own techniques!).

River Bank Clean Up Work Days

1st & 3rd Tuesdays, June, July, and August, 2012 @ 5p,
Location: Along the Riverbank
Work for a little before the concert!

Concerts in the Park have moved to Meyer Oak Grove. There still a little time before the concert for anyone who wants to pitch in for 30-45 minutes before the concert.

Stop by under the pavilion in August Derleth Park, pick up a bag and take a short walk. See you there!
