We Want You! There is a cooking contest connected to the 2008 Garlic Mustard Festival and we’d like you to participate. There are three levels of participation: Non-professional chefs split into two categories, adult and youth ages 6-17 years of age and professional chefs.
Professional chefs will have the same guidelines except they will be preparing their food in the park the morning of the competition. Non-professional chefs will bring their items already prepared.
All categories will be judged – there will be a winner from each category, with prizes of course! Non-professional categories will have a team of judges. Festival attendees who have purchased a “$5 plate” will be able to vote for the professional “best of show!”
Put on your chefs hats and have fun cooking with garlic mustard!

Garlic mustard is growing wild throughout the region. Find some to pick in a place you know is not sprayed with chemicals. If you need help in locating some please contact cindy@spriverpal.org or call 608-347-6203
Use this handy RSVP form to pre-register for the cooking contest.
