Rain Gardens, Rain Barrels Workshop

In the past few years there has been more and more written on rain gardens. But what is a rain garden without a rain barrel? Rain gardens and rain barrels do not need each other to be useful, but the benefits of the two together create many rewards for all.

Join us on Saturday, May 3, 9:00 am at 324 Holly Court, Prairie du Sac to find out what a rain barrel can do for your garden and the environment. There will be a discussion of how to create a rain garden and then a demonstration on making rain barrels. For $50 you will be able to make your own rain barrel on that Saturday and take it home. In order to know what we need for supplies advance registration is required. The appropriate pieces will then be purchased. If you would like to purchase one already made the cost is $80. Call 608-347-6203 if you have any questions or are interested in participating in the workshop or in ordering a barrel.
